And not constantly reading guides and stuff at the same time (I hate spoilers).Įven if I didn't do things in the right order, that shouldn't be a reason for the game to actually GLITCH.The Elder Scrolls (commonly referred to as TES) is an award-winning series of roleplaying games created by Bethesda Softworks. And I was actually playing the game how you're supposed to play it, by it. IT seemed liked a completely arbitrary thing. The whole "selling the amulet to Calixto" had no concrete connection in importance to anything else in the quest. Therefore I did not think to sell it to Calixto. I had no reason at the time to even think the Amulet was important. Yeah some people would say, "well of course it didn't work because you didn't do everything in the right order." I forget I even have the strange amulet.Ī few days later I start the second part of the quest by talking to Wuunferth in jail. My character somehow "knew" that Wuunferth was involved, as I clicked the dialogue option "Wuunferth did it" or something. There was nothing in-game to indicate to me that the Strange Amulet was important in any way, and I didn't need the extra gold, so I just went straight to the Jarl's steward with the journals and stuff. I never sold the amulet to Calixto in the first place.
